Summer Time

OK ok ok.......So it has been FOREVER since I have got on to update my blog! Lame I know but oh well. We all know how busy life gets right? Right.

Summer has flown by! I have to be back at school in exactly 1 month! That's right 30 days till my meetings begin and school is in session!
Can you just picture it? I'm starting to and it is crazy! But summer is not over yet and will enjoy my last summer as a free woman!

The 10 best things about summer:

1. Stormy days...I love thunder and have enjoyed the rolling clouds that bring a little bit of rain with them.

2. Sleeping in because you can! I have enjoyed doing that because I will be saying good bye to that for the rest of my teaching life :)

3. Summer clothes! Oh how I love summer dresses and SANDALS!!
4. Snow cones! Nothing better than Lime Margarita!!

5. Baseball! Go Dodgers!

6. Swimming and being in the sun!

7. Hanging out with my husband! We are barely 19 in this picture :)

8. Rasmussen Family Reunions! So excited for this weekend!

9. Do it yourself projects! I have taken on many this summer and am recently most proud of my re-upholstered chairs!

.........................Before and After............................

10. Spending time with great friends!

Hope your summer has been as fun, crazy, busy and exhausting as mine!

Happy Holidays!!

Christams is almost here and I am so excited to be going home to California!!! Ryan took a week off and we will get to be there Christmas Day until New Years Day and we have so many fun things planned. Here is a little glimpse of what we will be doing......Jazz vs Clippers game GO JAZZ! A New Years Eve Concert with one of my favorite singers

KRISTEN CHENOWETH and the LA Symphony! Not to mention all the fun nights with the fam! I am so excited to be going home for our 1st Christmas being married!

I have loved decorating my own house for the holidays though! The Christmas tree went up Thanksgiving night and Ryan and I bought lights for outside and put those up together! It has been so fun to buy and hide gifts and stocking stuffers from each other! I can't wait to use our video camera Christmas morning and begin our Woodmansee traditions together!!

On another note I have loved being out of school and have done nothing..... Seriously watched so many movies and hung out in sweat pants making Christmas goodies and wrapping gifts! What a much needed break! My awesome husband however is finished with school. Yep that's right he GRADUATED! I could not be more proud of his accomplishments and hard work! So we have much to be grateful for this season and wish you ALL a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

40 Days till Christmas

My Mom came to visit me last weekend we we had such an amazing time.....My mom is super awesome and I LOVED having her here. We did tons of shopping and house things and she taught me how to make bread. I have to say my rolls turned out amazing.....Making bread is really so simple!! Ryan and I were asked to speak in church a few weeks ago and we are glad to have that behind us haha. Our talks on Sunday were about Gratitude and Thanksgiving which is so appropriate for this time of year. Ryan did a great job and I felt pretty good about how mine went.
I am SUPER excited for Christmas. I have been listening to music and getting decorations ready and cannot wait to buy my FIRST real tree for my FIRST Christmas with my husband!!!! Things are good here at the Woodmansee's...we couldn't be more blessed and happy!!
My in laws are coming to join us in Cedar for Thanksgiving and I can't believe that that is next week. It will be so awesome to have our little sister Rylee here with us as well as our sisters Kylie and Kristen and adorable baby Jett!!! I am sooo excited to make my first Thanksgiving meal and hope everything goes well.
Hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving. SoooOOoOOoOooo much to be grateful for :)

Love my siblings!!

How stinkin cute is Rylee! I LOVE HER!

Wonderful time of year :)

Today is a beautiful day! The weather is ideal and the fall colors are lovely. Just had to take my puppy for a run on the fourwheelers with my husband cause no one knows how much longer we will have good weather. So my husband calls me today and says come look at this puppy over at Smiths....bad idea. I can not say no to puppies especially cute ones!!! It was adorable and snuggled up under my chin. Man my husband had to be strong for the both us. Sooooo now I want another puppy for my puppy Buddy because he would love the company! Aside from the lovely weather it is officially JAZZ season ladies and gentlemen. I could not be happier to watch mi amor Deron Williams play again. Sadly last night they played like homemade horse poo so I'm hoping tonight they get some pep in their step and show me some love. Like I said it is a wonderful time of year :)
